Tabletennis

I like table tennis but the first time it was hard because I couldnt get the ball on the bat.  I kept mising on the table then I got it all. The chrik(trick) was to keep your eye on the ball. The learning muscle I was stretching was persaverins (perseverance) because I never quit.

We have been lerning abawt Matariki. Matariki is maori now yer and we were calibrate(celebrating) matariki and I did kite making and rock panting and to do for kite making you have to do is make a kite.  I made a kite out of stiks and flaks(flax). To do rock panting to do it you have to do get a rock and paint and then paint the rock.

I was working with Jacob H because I couldn't make the jelly fish. He helped me and we were using our collaboration muscles. It was challenging making the jelly fish because we had to move the string around in our fingers. It was great having Jacob to help me because he knew how to make it.



I am proud that I made the parachute I did not and I just need to practise making the jellyfish.

The best thing at school to do at morning Tea and lunch  is play shoots so all you have to do is get a bool and get a hoop and then shoot in the hoop and try to do a swish and a swish is when you have to get it in with out touching the blue rim. To shoot a basketball you need to

1.  Aim the boll to the hoop.
2.  bend dawn.
3.  then shoot.

When you miss just try again and again.
I use my perseverance muscle.

Footboll

I love football and my team wan(won). We got 12 gols(goals). I got player of the day for keeping up with the ball and geting the ball once off the speedy leg guy. My team is calld the ratilsnaks (rattlesnakes). We have to bring oringis (oranges) to football and the trofey (trophy) and I am geting a wrap from McDonalds with my card from player of the day.

The Person From Planet X

The person from plaint (planet) x thinks a charter (tractor) is a betel (beetle) and the person thinks earth gross (grows) here.
I am reading faster. I am reading harder books with harder words so that my reading can get better. I have learnt trickier words like 'thought.'
I might join a book club at the library in the middle of the town. At the book club they will tell us about books and they will let us read books.

I have been working on learning how to make a racing car. Something that has challenged me was making the cylinder and reading the instructions so I could learn how to make my car.

Basketball

I am learning basketball skills. I am learning to bounce the ball below my hips and keeping my eyes straight a head so I don`t bump in to anybody. My fingers must be spread like a spiders legs so I can bounce the ball properly. You had to bonus (bounce) the ball up to your hips so it is hard for the people to get the ball.

Camp omatua

                                               

    I like the water slide it was fun I did not go on a tube down.The slide was sliprey (slippery) and fast.

My best thing at camp was dressing up the parents with toy toilet paper it was funny they were mummies it was at night.

Something that challenged me was the water slid beaus it was bumpy and farst.

I have been working on poting (putting) detail in my writing I wrote what I can see think and do.

Swimming

I am proud of my presentation for writing lots of infmashon (information). Something that challenged me was thinking of Some infimashin to sher. (share)

Modern Learning Environment

This week we have started a Modern Learning Environment with Room's 19 and 20.

On Monday we all gathered up and then we found a buddy to work with. My buddy is Jack.

Our buddies help us when we are stuck on something.

In the Modern Learning Environment we do lots of fun things using our devices.

Fun Run Fun!

We had our School Fun Run on Thursday. I enjoyed all of the Fun Run. I got an ice-block stick when I finished which gave my house points . The most enjoyable part of the Fun Run was jumping all of the hurdles.

Persuasion Writing

We have been learning to write persuasions.

We have been working in groups this week and writing a persuasion together.

Our persuasion is about whether a Countdown Supermarket should be built on our field. I don't think it should be.
